Shipping policy

We ship Monday – Friday. Any orders placed by 1pm weekdays will usually be shipped the same working day.  However, this isn’t always possible especially during events, sales & promotions when we have a surplus of orders to fulfil, we may need a little longer than usual to ship your order. Therefore, we guarantee to ship any orders placed by 1pm weekdays the next working day unless we have stated otherwise on the Arts and Funky website such as Christmas time when we may be closed for a longer period of time.  However, please rest assured that we always endeavour to ship all orders placed by 1pm weekdays the same working day.

UK orders will be shipped via DPD and will usually take 1 – 3 working days to deliver once shipped, depending on your location (1-2 weekdays for UK mainland, 2 weekdays for N.I & Scottish Highlands, 3 days for Scottish Islands etc).

DPD will update you via email and/or text message with a 1 hour time slot by 11am on the day of delivery.

All consignments are fully tracked and fully insured. 

If you have any queries about your shipment once it is in the DPD network then please contact the dedicated DPD customer service telephone number on 0121 275 0500 and provide the DPD customer service representative with your tracking number. 

Please note; once we have shipped your order you will be notified via email or text message.  Your shipment will not be scanned into the DPD depot until very late in the evening, this is completely normal.

If you’re not in to receive your order on the day, please don’t worry as re-delivery will be attempted the next working day however, you will also be supplied with alternative delivery options in advance such as “leave in safe place” or “leave with neighbour”. 

However, please note that we (Arts and funky) require all orders to be delivered in person.  If you opt to have your order delivered “in a safe place” or “with your neighbour” then this is at your own risk and Arts and funky will not be held financially liable or responsible for items which are subsequently lost or stolen as a result. When you request to “leave in a safe place” on the DPD app you have to click a button which states that you accept full responsibility and the risk is yours.  If your item is lost or stolen as a result of “leaving in a safe place” or “with a neighbour” you will not be refunded.  By placing an order you agree to these terms and conditions which are legally binding.

If you request for delivery to a “DPD pickup shop” then you will have 7 days to collect your order. Should you fail to collect your order within the 7 day period and your order is subsequently returned to us, then you will be charged for the associated costs of returning the order to us.  Arts and funky will not be held financially responsible for orders which have failed to be collected from “DPD pickup shops” within the 7 day grace period and are subsequently returned to us at an extra cost.  By placing an order you agree to these terms and conditions which are legally binding.

All international consignments to selected EU member states (not the UK) are temporarily suspended due to Brexit.

It is the responsibility of the buyer to provide correct shipping details and select the correct shipping option, Arts and funky (the company) will not be held financially responsible if the consumer/buyer provides an incorrect shipping address/postcode and items are subsequently lost/delivered to an incorrect address or subsequent issues occur including extra shipping costs are incurred. By placing an order you agree to these terms and conditions which are legally binding and agree that no refund with reference to shipping costs will be provided under these circumstances. 

Orders can be cancelled without charge as long as your order has not been dispatched. No cancellation can be accepted after shipping your order without incurring further charges to return the order to us which will need to be accommodated by the customer. If you cancel your order after it has been dispatched your shipping costs will not be refunded and you will need to accommodate the costs to return the item to us.  If your order is delivered and you still wish to cancel you will need to follow the appropriate refund process.

We use “DPD Express” delivery service for delivery of our products to UK mainland. Please note that “DPD Express” is not guaranteed next weekday delivery and is only an aim. Sometimes there may be delays in shipments due to traffic conditions or situations in an individual DPD depot – Arts and funky will not be held financially responsible for late deliveries due to DPD conditions as listed above – by placing an order you agree to these terms and conditions which are legally binding.
